Plain English summary: We collect your name and email when you join our waitlist. We use it to send you updates about The Groomers Base. We don't sell your data. Ever. This policy explains the details.
The Groomers Base ("we", "us", "our") is a software-as-a-service product designed for independent dog groomers and small grooming salons. We are currently in pre-launch, collecting waitlist registrations from prospective users.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, The Groomers Base is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

When you join our waitlist, we collect:
Once the The Groomers Base platform is live and you create an account, we will additionally collect data necessary to provide the service — including appointment data, client records, payment information (processed by Stripe), and usage logs. A separate, updated privacy policy will govern that data at the time of launch.
We do not currently use analytics tools, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. We do not collect your IP address, device fingerprint, or browsing behaviour on this page.

Waitlist form submissions are processed by Formspree, Inc. Formspree receives your form data and forwards it to us by email. Formspree processes data in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We have a Data Processing Agreement in place with Formspree.
When the platform launches, payments will be processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe will act as an independent data controller for payment data and is responsible for PCI DSS compliance. We do not store credit card numbers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We use a third-party email delivery service to send transactional and marketing emails. This provider processes your email address and name as a data processor on our behalf.
We do not share your data with any other third parties. We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or any advertising networks.
Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your personal data. We will respond to all verified requests within 30 days.

This landing page does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts. The only external resource loaded is Google Fonts (for typography). Google Fonts may set a cookie or log your IP address as part of its CDN operation — see Google's Privacy Policy.
Once the The Groomers Base platform launches, we may use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication. We will update this policy and add a cookie notice at that time.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. These include:
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your rights or freedoms, we will notify you and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law (within 72 hours under GDPR).
The Groomers Base operates from within the European Union. If you access our service from outside the EU, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws, including the United States (via Formspree).
Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission or reliance on processors who are certified under applicable frameworks.
The Groomers Base is a business tool intended solely for use by adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us at hello@groomersbase.com and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if you are on our waitlist) and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
We will never materially reduce your rights under this policy without explicit notice and, where required, renewed consent.
